We offer 3 daily shifts for Court Ordered Volunteers

8 hours- 8am to 5pm (with an hour lunch break 1pm to 2pm) 

5 hours- 8am to 1pm 

3 hours- 2pm to 5pm 

Community Servers should arrive on time for their shift and should report directly to the kitchen. THE KITCHEN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TURN AWAY ANY COMMUNITY SERVER IF LATE.  Community Servers MUST sign in and out of their shift at the clipboard outside the kitchen. Supervisors will sign out servers at the end of their shifts. Failure to properly sign in and out will result in a loss of credit for hours. Community Servers should anticipate performing additional tasks for other programs as needed, including block clean-up, warehouse, housekeeping, etc. Volunteers must adhere to all food and safety protocols Volunteers are expected to wear a hairnet or hat, gloves, and an apron.Hair is to be pulled up and out of the face.Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. No shorts, no crop tops, no pajamas. Volunteers should anticipate standing or walking for the majority of their shifts. Volunteers may be asked to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds. IF UNABLE TO PERFORM THESE FUNCTIONS DUE TO A DISABILITY, PLEASE CONTACT THE VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR FOR ACCOMMODATIONS.

FOR VERIFICATION OF HOURS, community servers should email the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@chattfoundation.org - this may take 1 to 2 business days. 

The Volunteer Coordinator will only coordinate directly with the individual serving their community service. The Volunteer Coordinator will not coordinate with any relative, partner, CF staff member, or other third party for scheduling and documentation.
Exception Include:
- Minors: The Volunteer Coordinator will communicate with minors and their guardians and should be contacted directly.
- Lawyers, probation officers, judges, or other representatives communicate on behalf of the volunteer.

Kitchen Staff, CF Supervisors, and the Volunteer Coordinator reserve the right to turn away any community servers for non-compliance, disrespectful behavior, over-scheduling, etc.
