Hospitality

Through the Community Center and Welcome Desk, this program is meant to provide a space where individuals can engage with their community and the services available to them, in a way that promotes self-sufficiency, communion with others, and fosters self-respect, dignity, and acknowledges the worth of every person.

Community Center

Overall Goal: To provide services and information to participants, as well as, donors, volunteers, and visitors in a

  • Mail Services
  • Laundry 
  • Showers
  • Computer Lab 
  • Library
  • Charging Stations and Telephones
  • Foot Care Appointments (with UTC School of Nursing) 
  • Haircuts (with Chatt. State School of Barbering) 
  • Resources and Aids (with the Department of Human Services)
  • Chiropractic Services (with Key to Wellness Chiropractic) 
  • Street Chapel
  • Homeless Peer Support Specialist
  • Employment Resource Specialist

This area of the organization is used for special events and programming throughout the week. If you are interested in hosting a class or special program, please visit our Specialized Opportunities Program.  

Welcome Center

Overall Goal: The welcome desk is the very first thing participants and volunteers see when coming into the CHATT Foundation. It is the area where visitors are greeted, welcomed, and directed to services and areas in the building. The welcome desk is also the area where donations and recycling are received.
