Overall Goal: To support the warehouse staff in managing daily donations and recyclables, ensuring efficient distribution of donations to each department.
Ideal Volunteer: Strong individuals or groups willing to handle donations, organize, sort, and, when appropriate, operate necessary machinery.
- Volunteers will organize donations into assigned areas.
- Volunteers are expected to sort donations as necessary, coordinating with the Thrift Store and Kitchen.
- Volunteers should expect to work independently.
- Volunteers will sort recyclables.

Volunteers should expect to be in our basement for the majority of their shifts. Volunteers are expected to be flexible for incoming large donations/deliveries, special projects, and changing duties. Volunteers must be able to lift, squat, bend, and be on their feet for extended periods of time. Volunteers should expect heavy lifting to be involved.
